Opening 1-bedroom Public Housing Waiting List

On 04/08/2025, at 8:00AM the Lake County Housing Authority will open its 1-bedroom waiting list for the following properties:

• Beach Haven Towers, 730 Golfview Dr. Round Lake Beach, IL, 60073
• Hawley Manor, 22 & 42 Hawley Rd., Grayslake, IL 60030
• Shiloh Towers, 1525 27th Street, Zion, IL 60099

Beach Haven Tower and Hawley Manor properties require the head of household to be 55 and older. Shiloh Tower property requires head of household to be at least 55 years of age or have a disability.

Pre-applications for income qualified households of no more than two persons will be accepted through our RentCafe portal until 950 applications are received. The Portal provides multiple languages, is easily accessible and simple to use. New Applicants will need to pre-register before applying to the waitlist.
