TAP / Security Deposit Assistance

The Security Deposit Assistance Program is being replaced by TAP: the Tenants Assistance Program.

As of 1-1-20025, the TAP Program is no longer accepting new applications due to limited funding.  We expect to resume new applications in May / June 2025.

TAP offers assistance to Lake County renters with delinquent rent or security deposit.  

This program is funded by the IDHS Homelessness Prevention Fund, and is required to adhere to the qualifications and requirements set out by this funder.
